Getting Started with IPO Tracker
IPO Tracker helps you manage all your IPO investments — applications, allotments, holdings, and profit — across every demat account, in one place. Here's how to get set up.
1. Create Your Account
Go to the sign-up page and create an account with your email and a password. You'll be taken straight to your dashboard after signing up.
2. Add Your Demat Accounts
Before you can track applications, you need to add the demat accounts you use to apply for IPOs. Go to the Accounts page from the sidebar (or bottom nav on mobile) and click + Add Account.
For each account, enter:
- Account name — the account holder's name as registered with the broker
- Broker — Zerodha, Groww, Upstox, Angel One, etc.
- Nickname (optional) — a short label like "My Zerodha" or "Dad's Groww"
Add as many accounts as you have. If you apply from family members' accounts, add those too — that's the whole point of tracking across accounts.
3. Browse the IPO Catalog
Go to the IPOs page. The default tab — IPO Dashboard — shows all current and upcoming IPOs curated by our team. IPOs are grouped by status:
- Open — currently accepting applications
- Upcoming — announced but not yet open
- Closed — application window has ended
Use the dropdown at the top to filter by All, Mainboard, or SME IPOs.
4. Apply to an IPO
Found an IPO you want to track? Click the Apply button on any catalog entry. This opens the application form pre-filled with the IPO's details. Select which demat account you're applying from, enter the number of lots, and save.
To apply from multiple accounts at once, click Bulk Applyinstead. You can select several demat accounts and set the lots for each — all in one step.
5. Check Your Dashboard
Head back to the Home page to see your dashboard. It shows summary stats — total IPOs tracked, capital applied, blocked, invested, and your net P&L. As you add more data, you'll see charts and activity feeds too.
